HARDWARE COMPATIBILITY  Return to main page

Our IFCam Software runs on Windows 95/98/ME, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. We do not currently support Windows 3.x, UNIX/Linux, or Macintosh. Please note that while our software does work on Windows NT and 2000, many PC cameras and capture cards do not. We also strongly recommend a Pentium 100 with 16 MB RAM or better for optimum performance from your camera. (Be sure to check your camera or capture card's specifications for any additional requirements). IFCam is compatible with ALL PC Cameras and capture cards that COMPLETELY adhere to the Video For Windows standard (most do).

We have been testing our IFCam Software with a variety of PC Cameras and video capture cards to insure maximum compatibilty with our hardware. Below are our current findings. These results ONLY reflect how these products act with our IFCam Software and do not necessarilly reflect their performance in other applications. (Note: Results may vary based on Operating System.)
